Making dens and play hide and seek.
July 27 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm| £1 – £6
Come join the fun any age welcome!
It’s just a short walk from the parking area to our camp, where your child can explore the woods, and help collect sticks for our campfire. Once everyone is settled in, its time for a brief safety talk. Then the fun will begin.
Can you make a den, then when a bucket of water is thrown over it, will keep you dry? Play with the pots and pans in the mud kitchen and make mud pies and tree boggarts. There will be time to explore our woodland on a animal hunt looking for insects on the way. Turn over the tree stumps and see how many worms you can find. There will be lots to see and do. We will have a number of things going on to take part in so even if you come every day we will have something new for you to do.
Always time for a hot chocolate or tea/coffee for the adults (donations appreciated) and juice for the children, then toast marshmallows over the fire.
Time for a game of hide and seek. We will split you into two teams and see which team can be found in the quickest time.
So, why not organise a day out with friends or family. Meet up with others you have not seen for a long time. Be apart of something exciting. Come an explore the woods and get back to nature.
Please ensure you book and pay in advance, BACS is the easy way to pay, but if you need to pay on the day we may be unable to supply change, so correct money is advised. Also please ensure you bring your reference booking either on your phone or print it out, we may ask to see it.
If the weather is warm, ensure you bring a water bottle, and wear clothing to cover your arms and legs and sturdy boots are recommended.
