It is a day held to demonstrate and promote environmental awareness and calls for the protection of our planet. We will provide rope\, tarpaulin\, and even a bucket of water to test it is waterproof\, will you get wet? \nWith the wood you collected on the way from the carpark\, its time to test your fire lighting skills. We will show you how to light a fire\, then you and your child can have a go. \nHot chocolate and tea/coffee for the adults  (donations appreciated) and juice for the children will be provided. There will even be time to toast marshmallows.

(Donations appreciated) \nThe main focus will be painting eggs and going on a egg hunt through the magical muddy woodland forest. How many can you find? \nThere will be the opportunity to explore the woods\, play games and have fun on the tyre swing and rope walk. \nAt our campfire site using the collected wood and a strike you can try to light the fire to toast marshmallows. \nThe family ticket must be purchased before extra children are added £10 min charge

DESCRIPTION:Its the time of the year we get to invite mum’s to have a day all about them. \nWhy not join us celebrating Mothers Day at our forest family session\, spend some quality outdoor time with your whole family\, Grannies and Grandads can come too! \nMums come for free…it’s Mothers Day after all. \nFor all to enjoy and participate in\, spend time exploring and playing in the woods\, relax in the hammock or have a go on the rope swing\, maybe build a den together. \nThen….. \nWhy not try your hand at fire lighting\, and whittle a stick for marshmallow toasting. \nTake home you own planted bulb or plant them around the forest for others to enjoy. \nThere will be time for hot chocolate\, tea/coffee and squash for the little ones. Bring a lunch box and enjoy lunch sat around the camp fire if you wish.

DESCRIPTION:Have you ran out of things to do with your children?\nWhy not come and spend the last but one day of the holiday getting messy in the woods?\nTake part in tailored activities\, at the same time as having freedom to explore and have an adventure in our magical woodland. \nOur February sessions are filled with fun activities for all ages to enjoy the great outdoors with your family. Bringing memories back for mum\, dad\, and everyone of all ages roasting marshmallows over a camp fire.  \nCome and enjoy our two and half hour tech free sessions\, no facebook no mobile phones and no internet. Just getting back to nature in a relaxed and fun environment. \nPlease book NOW as places are limited……. \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION \nMeet 10 minutes before the start of the sessions in the car-park and wait for a ranger. \nYounger or older siblings are welcome\, but please ensure that they have a ticket. \nAll children to be accompanied by a responsible adult. \nYou may get muddy and wet. \nActivity clothes and sturdy shoes are a must for all. \nBring waterproofs\, wellies\, suntan cream and a sun hat (a change of clothes for the journey home). \nLong sleeves and trousers recommended \nNo skirts\, open toes shoes/sandals\, flip flops or crocs or flammable clothing. Anyone with unsuitable clothing or foot wear or clothing may be excluded from taking part. \nThe responsible adult is responsible for the actions and involvement of child they are accompanying. \nPHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE TAKEN DURING THIS SESSION – If you do not wish photographs of your child to be used for publicity purposes (names are never published) please inform the rangers at the start of the session as this is no problem.
